How I doubled my program features without doubling my team expenses

I did this while keeping my payroll the same. In fact, I actually REDUCED expenses (2 team members left to grow their families and I decided not to re-hire.)

How?

I can say the obvious answer: systems. But the less obvious answer that I think no one talks about is TEAM CULTURE.

I have always made sure to build a team culture where everyone knows that anyone can do anything on the team and we don’t go over hours.

I’ve designed all of my systems to where anyone can jump in on any role if needed. So, when I was restructuring my team for more efficiency by cross-training my co-coaches across my programs, no one was surprised or worried and they were all excited to dive in.

I’ve also created a self-managing team culture. My team knows that if they find themselves getting close to hours that they need to work together to divide responsibilities or figure out where the inefficiencies are so they can create a system to fix it. They know not to just come to me and ask for more hours or hit me with a huge unexpected invoice.

While they are willing to go over hours if needed, the team knows that it benefits them to stay within their hours because they don’t get unexpected work added to their plate and can focus on their own businesses.

They like that my business is simple to work in.
